Why is my inbox emply when ported to GMS on UNIX?

Question

If a user on the old machine has inbox.mbx and inbox.idx (all lower case)
when this is ported to the new machine it becomes INBOX.mbx and INBOX.idx
an empty InBox.mbx and InBox.idx are created for the user on the new machine.
When accessing the account using KMail over IMAP you can
see the empty InBox.mbx but not the INBOX.mbx that contains
the user’s mail.

Answer

This was a case sensitivity issue with InBox and INBOX on UNIX. The account porting code has now been changed to force case sensitivity with InBox.
