Question
GMS AND GMS Webmail contain a caching proxy server which allows all access to the web to go through a single point.
When accessing some sites (the first identified was http://pchome.eachnet.com) the proxy would fail and produce a TRAP.
Answer
An automated TRAP response was received from a customer which has allowed us to quickly identify and fix this issue.
This problem was caused by the web server identified as:
TUX/2.2 (Linux)
which inserts unexpect NULL characters during the header phase of the data transfer.
Our engineers are aware of this issue and have resolved it in version 7B available from 8-Feb-02.
