Why does the contents of the compose page in GMS Webmail exceed the screen width?

Question

If I enable "email history" within GMS Webmail under preferences<Composing Mail but have no addresses stored against the history, then clicking the < arrow to access the history drop down widens the contents of the Compose Message page considerably so that the Cancel button and part of the Send button disappear off the right of the screen.

Answer

The reason this was happening was that the compose message page in GMS Webmail was populating the history drop down menu with a wide empty space if the history list was empty. This resulted in the page widening considerably to accommodate this new field width so that the Cancel button and part of the Send button disappeared off the right of the screen.

This has been fixed so that the software restricts the width of the email history field to only the width required to display the text "- Select Address -" when the history list is empty.
