When I run the upgrade from my previous version to 7a, I find that it stops for a long time on the "Tuning System" message. What is the cause of this?
Answer
At the time that the install says "Tuning System", it is infact upgrading your current user information into the new Address book format. The upgrade is also updating the format of any existing GMS Webmail address books on your system. This can take a long time if you have a lot of users, or a lot of large address books.
You should allow the upgrade to run for as long as it takes to perform this process, do not abort the upgrade.
