Why does my Signature appear after the message I am replying to?

Question

When you reply to a message in GMS Webmail and you have a signature configured it appears at the bottom of the message after the previous messages content.

You would like to configure GMS Webmail to place the signature at the bottom of your message.

Answer

In common with the standard practice, GMS Webmail places the signature at the bottom of the message body.

GMS Webmail is extremely flexible and will allow you to place your signature at the end of your typing rather than at the end of the message. You can achieve this by using Templates.

Create a template with two blank lines followed by your signature. Set this new template to be the default template.

Every time you compose a message, the template will be used and your signature automatically placed at the top of the email you are about to compose. Simply type your reply as usual and press "SEND".

Using a template has the additional benefit that you can change your signature for particular people if you wish to.
