Why does GMS Communication Server not stop my admins adding bad addresses through the import option?

Under Manage > Import you can add an address like user@company1.dom. to a list however if you use the listname-request option the final dot is removed.

Answer

The Import option has been changed to correct incorrect addresses before importing them. Addresses such as user@company1.dom. are now added as user@company1.dom correctly.
