Why do calendar events created on my wireless PDA appear empty in Outlook?

Question

When I create an event on my mobile device such as a Blackberry or Palm Treo and then synchronise these events with my desktop via a Notify server then both the subject and body of the event appear to be empty. However times and alarms are set correctly.

How can I resolve this?

Answer

There was a conflict between the way the Notify Server and the Gordano Collaboration client interpretted the information presented by mobile devices.

Gordano have resolved this issue within the Collaboration Client and released a new build of the client labelled Build 3397 dated 27th February 2006. Any customers using mobile devices in conjunction with Notify and Outlook should upgrade their client installations to this Build.

There was no conflict between Notify and GMS Webmail or between GMS Webmail and Outlook.

The new build can be obtained from the main download section of the Gordano web site www.gordano.com.
