Each copy of GMS that has been purchased through an educational discount (GMS K12) has a discrete footer added to all outgoing mail containing the single line “GMS K12 – the Mail Server for Education”.
This footer is added as compensation to Gordano for the large discounts given to educational establishments and can not be removed.
GMS K12 is only available to bona fide educational institutions.
