I have just upgraded my operating System to Windows XP Service Pack. Since doing this I can no longer connect to my GMS server. What is wrong?
Answer
Windows XP has included a basic firewall for some time. However with the release of Service Pack 2 for Windows XP this firewall is enabled by default, even if it was not previously enabled.
You will need to configure the firewall to allow GMS to operate correctly and to ensure that it does not interfere with communications with the GMS server.
