Why can I not attach files when using Internet Explorer over Citrix?

Users cannot add attachments in GMS Webmail if they log on from a citrix terminal using Internet Explorer. If they log on directly from a workstation they have no such problems. The attachment gets sent to the gordanodomainusersusernameattachments directory successfully but then IE reports a javascript error.

The error is:

They get the same error regardless of whether they use the browse button or type the path to the attachment in directly.

Answer

The introduction of Citrix causes problems with javascript window handling. Please contact Citrix to report this issue.

The following URL shows that Citrix is aware of an issue with Javascript window handling but they do not provide any solution to the problem.

The issue has been reported to Citrix on 10-July-2002 but they were unable to give details of when a fix would be available.
