Why are *.ntm files building up in my temp directory?

I have a lot of files building up in my gordanotemp directory. These files all have the extension .ntm

Answer

All files with the extension .ntm are temporary files that should be cleared up after use.

The files are being left behind due to the fact that under Security > Control you have the option “Allow delivery scripts” selected, but you have not enabled the running of these scripts.

To stop the build up of these temporary files either de-select the option “Allow delivery scripts” or select the option “Allow SMTP scripts” and then click on Update

The files will be cleared out automatically on a stop and restart of the SMTP service.
