Why are messages not being scanned by GMS Anti-Virus?

Answer

An issue was found in build 3078 where messages by-passed GMS Anti-Virus. This only affects installations with all
the following setttings enabled:

  • Virus scanner enabled
  • Deliver message as usual
  • Disinfect message with VPP
  • Any one of the 3 alert options enabled.

The problem did not affect any installation that did not have this exact setup.
