Answer
Assuming that the account is a valid account on the server and the usrname and password being presented are correct, there is normally only two reasons for this.
- The product key has expired
- All available pop/imap seats have already been taken. This can easily occur if you have a 50 user licence for each of GMS Mail and GMS Webmail. In this case the first 50 users to connect to a service will be allowed to proceed whereas any further connections will be treated as unknown users. You should give specific users rights to access either GMS Mail or GMS Webmail.
- The ip being used by the client is not allowed to connect to the server.
