What is Outlook?

Answer

Outlook is the generic name given to a range of different mail clients written and supported by Microsoft Corporation. Variants include Outlook, Outlook 2000, Outlook Express, Outlook XP, etc. Further variants are
available on Apple Macs.

All variants may be used with GMS Mail. Versions of Outlook from 2002 with SP2 installed onwards are fully compatible with GMS Collaboration.

GMS Anti-Spam and GMS Anti-Virus contain substantial quantities of code to protect Outlook users from viruses and attacks via email. Further GMS may be configured to ensure that messages produced by Outlook conform to Internet Standards so that other messaging systems can process them correctly.
