Answer
When a list posting cannot be delivered to a member address it is usually returned to GMS Communication Server with a failure message. This may be because the address does not exist, the receiving server is down or for many other reasons.
GMS Communication Server allows you to manage these bounces by automatically suspending any addresses that are constantly
bouncing. This helps keep your membership information up to date and saves on bandwith. (There is no point delivering to addresses that are going to fail).
Instead of automatically suspending or removing members
you can get GMS Communication Server to notify you of the bounces
directly thus giving you the opportunity to decide whether an address should be suspended or removed.
