Yes. GMS has a high level of integration with the Windows SAM database. This includes the ability to cache the results of SAM lookups to both help reduce network traffic and increase the performance of GMS.
Additionally, GMS will work in conjunction with SAM users profiles, maintaining their mailboxes within their home directories and honouring any quota’s placed on these directories by the System Administrator.
