Is it possible to restrict individual users from access to GMS Web Organizer?
Is it possible to restrict certain users from accessing the calendar feature in GMS Webmail?
Yes this can be done.
By creating a new profile and setting it up accordingly, will mean every user who is added to this profile will not have access to calendaring.
By clicking Domains > Reports, this will take you to a new interface similar to the future GMS front end.
From here click on Profiles
Select System Base Profile and choose the ‘Clone to’ radio button. In here enter the name of this new profile you are about to create.
Click Update to finish this process. Now assign the users to this profile.
Note: You are able to change the exisitng profile of a user by selecting.
Users > Edit – Change profile.
