Question
I would like to move from my present Microsoft Exchange solution to GMS solution running on a Unix platform. How do I move my users that are currently stored in Microsoft Active Directory?
Answer
If you use GMS Auto Port to automatically port from a Microsoft Exchnge platform to GMS running on one of the supported Unix platforms, this is all done automatically for you as part of the porting process.
As each user connects to GMS to access their email, not only are all their messages automatically ported across, but the username and password are also captured and automatically set up on the Unix server.
No further action is required by you.
