How do I exclude a single domain from my list of subdomains in GMS?

Question

I have a large number of subdomains that GMS handles however I specifically want to route mail for anyone @ list.domain.dom to another server. This means I need to exclude it from being handled as a subdomain of domain.dom but I have so many sub domains with more created everyday that listing every one is a huge task.

Answer

This is where using the ! opperator is useful and this can now be used with GMS.

We have enhanced the way that GMS currently works to allow an admin to include a specific domain or domains that they would like to be excluded from local handling in the Domain name<aliases section.

This means that a much simpler entry of just *.domain.name or *.domain.dom can be used to handle all subdomain mail and the exceptions to the rule can now be listed as !bob.domain.name or !list.domain.dom
