Answer
The number of WWW threads enabled on your system is to an extent a matter of tuning. However there are some rules to follow.
- The number of WWW threads should be at least as high as the number of SMTP threads.
- Allow at least 1 WWW thread for each group of 2 concurrent GMS Webmail users.
- Allow at least 1 WWW thread for each group of 2 concurrent admin users
The system will automatically check to ensure that you are running a relevant number of WWW threads to match your SMTP thread settings. The allowances made for actual users may be tuned to your particular situation, you may find that you need slightly more than the recommendations above, or indeed with large numbers of concurrent users you may be able to use a slightly lower setting.
