Answer
The "Engine Version" entry on the Scanner > Signature Updates page always shows which version of the signature (or definition) files you are running. This will have an entry like
v4.91 sig 16:00:2003 mac 16:00:2003
The first number "v4.91" is the version number of the scanner DLL’s currently being run. The "sig" entry is the date of the most recent virus definition files installed. And finally the "mac" entry is the date of the most reent macro virus definition files installed.
