How do I access email on GMS Cloud using an email client such as Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird?
Getting Started With GMS Cloud
I would like to use an email client such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird to download email from my GMS Cloud account, how is this done?
To collect your email from GMS Cloud, configure your email client with the following settings:
Incoming POP/IMAP server: mail.gms-cloud.com
Outgoing SMTP server: smtp.gms-cloud.com
Account name: <your [full] GMS Cloud email address>
Password: <your account password>
Client settings are typically similar across different email clients. Using Outlook 2010 as an example:

- • New ->
- • Add New Account:
- • Select: “Manually configure server settings or additional server types”
- • Select: Internet E-mail
- • Internet E-mail Settings
- • Add your accounts details as listed above
You may use SSL settings if you wish to and your client supports them. If you select secure (SSL) then you should leave the port selections as the default.
