Do I need to disable my existing AV solution in order to trial GMS Anti-Virus?

I am currently running a third party AV solution on the same server as GMS. Do I need to disable this in order to run a trial of GMS Anti-Virus?

Answer

No, it is not necessary to disable it. However you must ensure that all of the Gordano directories are excluded from third party AV solution checks.

Note: Third Party AV solutions should never be run against any of the Gordano directories in any case as they can have a sever effect on the successful transfer of mail.
