Question
Can more than one client access a single mailbox if they use IMAP?
Answer
Yes.
All Gordano products that provide support for the IMAP4 protocol support mailbox sharing and multi-access of folders.
Pre Build 3213
In order to have multiple people access the same shared IMAP folder, you must be sure that they have all configured their IMAP4 compatable clients to use the same username and password.
Build 3213 Onwards
As of Build 3213 IMAP provides true support for folder sharing including public folders via Access Control Lists (ACL). A full description of how to implement this is provided in the product manuals.
