Yes. You can send a message into an Instant Message window using mail.exe
The link below for the Knowledge Base on the new Mail.exe commands outlines the commands that can be used.
An example of how to send an Instant Message from the command line follows. Note that the user sending the message must log on to the server as part of the sending process. Also if the user the message is being sent to is not currently logged on to the server the message will fail.
Prior to attempting to send the message you must change to teh directory containing the mail executable, by default on Windows this is the c:gordanobin directory, on Unix the /opt/gordano/mail/bin/ directory.
mail -logon sender@domain.com senders_password -im recipient@domain.com "This is an Instant Message"
