Can I use a Super-list instead of buying the correct GMS Communication Server license?

Question

A SuperList is a container for a number of individual lists. A post to the SuperList will be sent out to all of the members in the individual lists within the SuperList.

If a customer were to use (for example), GMS Communication Server Intro (250 members per list) and run 115 (approx) lists under the umbrella of a Superlist in order to be able to post to 28,000 list members, will this work?

Answer

No, This will not work.

It is not possible to send postings to any list, including a Superlist, that exceed the licensed number of list members.

For example:
If you have GMS Communication Server 1500 member license and configure a Superlist containing a list with 1000 members and a list containing 800 members.

When a post is sent to this list, postings will only be made to the first 1500 members on this list.

Note: A key feature of superlists is to remove duplicated adresses, therefore if the the combined lists in the example above contained 300 duplicated addresses all members will receive a posting.
