Yes, GMS Archive & Recovery can be run on the same machine as GMS. However, this means you will loose the safety aspect of having all data transfered to a second machine for safe keeping.
Gordano recommends that you install GMS Archive & Recovery on another machine (e.g. GMS Office) which has a large disk in order to store all the mail archive logs.
