Question
GMS Anti-Virus displays the date of the last signature update in the format:
v4.91 sig 25:10:2002 mac 26:10:2002
Here you can see a date of 25-Oct-02 when in fact, the date should be
25-Nov-02.
Answer
No, the signature files are not one month out of date.
Gordano’s GMS Anti-Virus uses the Command Software Anti-Virus engine. The
signature starts with January as month 0, rather than 1 as would be
expected. This gives the (erronus) impression that the signature files are
out of date.
