Question
I am currently running VSM but have just purchased an upgrade to GMS Anti-Virus. Is there anything I need to do other than input the new keys I have been provided with?
Answer
The first step is to enter the new keys that you have been provided with. Once you have done this, go to the GMS Anti-virus > Scanner option in the administration menu tree and in the panel on the right select the "Select Scanner" tab. Select the option "Gms Anti-virus" from the drop down menu and then click on the Set button. Now restart your server.
Once the server restarts you should be running GMS Anti-Virus which will be used for all future virus scanning.
You may also like to go the Automatic Updates > GMS Anti-virus section of the tree and set up the frequency with which you would like the server to check for the availability of updated virus definition files.
