Question
I would like to enable SSL transactions for all the services on my GMS installation. What is the process to set this up?
Answer
GMS allows you to support SSL transactions for all services.
To enable SSL you first need to obtain a free SSL key from the Sales department.
Having applied this key you then need to create a certificate and key pair using Keycert.exe, located in the GordanoBin directory. (see KB article 339 for more information on Keycert.exe).
Next you need to configure your secure ports from the Incoming->Secure Ports section of the interface.
Having done this, you need to stop and restart all your GMS services.
You should now have a server that will simultaneously support both SSL and normal connections dependant on the ports connected to.
