Answer
A vCard is an electronic (or virtual) business card. It is a powerful new means of allowing you users to exchange their personal information with each other. vCards carry vital directory information about the user such as name, address, telephone number, etc. and are an excellent means of including the users details within email messages.
Information transferred in vCards can be automatically added to address books, and interact with any application that supports the vCard standards.
GMS Webmail has in built support for vCards, both sending and receiving. When vCards are received, a link is displayed at the bottom of the page which allows you to add or update existing vCards. You can send any number of vCards to others by selecting the address book icon next to the attachments box.
Further, if there is a mobile or cellphone number in the vCard, you will be able to send SMS messages to that person too.
