When saving setup.txt what does the option "include all files" cover

Answer

When saving a copy of the Recovery file (setup.txt) there is an option to include all files within the recovery file. If selected this option will include all user-related files in an encoded format along with the rest of the configuration information for the system and save it all in a file called setup.txt.

The files included cover all user related files such as autoresponders, list membership databases, etc. However it does not include user mailboxes as this could potentially produce a very large file. It is advised to use standard backup procedures to preserve copies of user mailboxes.

If producing a copy of the recovery file at the request of Gordano support it is not normally a requirement to include all files so this option should be left unchecked.
