How do I enable editing of Variables?

Answer

When you install Gordano Products, the options allowing you to edit the System, Domain and User variables are disabled by default.

You should only have to change these variables if instructed to do so by Gordano Support.

In version 18 and newer, go to the System Administration->Security->Control page and select “allow direct editing of system variables” then press the update button.

In version 17 or earlier, to enable these tabs, select "Allow direct editing of system variables" from the Administration -> Mail -> Security -> Control page.

  • System Variables are stored under the system level Support -> Variables page.
  • Domain Variables are stored under the domain level
    Support -> Variables page.

  • User Variables are stored under the Administration -> Mail -> Users -> User Variables page.

    In versions prior to version 14, variables are stored under the Support section of the interface.
