Answer
We now have a solution for GMS Mail and Wingate sitting on the same server. This utilizes Wingate’s RAS or LAN connections and NOT GMS Mail’s.
Assuming local GMS server’s address of 127.0.0.1 (Change as necessary)
Under Wingate
Configure a user service (port 26 to map to ISP’s port 25)
Configure a user service (port 111 to map to ISP’s port 110)
Under GMS Mail
Configure post rules or postservers.txt to send all local mail via 127.0.0.1 port 25 and all other mail via 127.0.0.1 port 26
Configure POP3 schedule to collect via 127.0.0.1 port 111
This clears problems reported for several customers in the past, where GMS Mail RAS would clash with other services using RAS on the same server.
