Creating a log file can help in diagnosing many communications problems between the Softalk Share Server and the Outlook clients.
Open the Administrator program and click on the Settings icon.
Select the Logging tab and tick the box to Log communications. If a detailed log file is required, tick the box to include item details in the log file. When logging has been enabled the location of the log files is shown in the Settings property page.
Please remember that the logging function is a diagnostic tool that may have an impact on the performance of your server. The log files can be very large in size. You should disable this facility once you have finished your testing.
