How can I increase the WebMail timeout period?

Symptoms

WebMail keeps timing out when it has been left inactive for a short period of time.

Resolution

Using Notepad, edit the file default.asp in the WebMail folder (under the WorkgroupMail data folder). Add a line for ‘session.timeout’ as follows in the position specified (near the top of the file). Save your changes.

This sets the timeout to 30 minutes; the default otherwise is 10 mins.
