You need to check that the Outlook client has been updated to use the same version that runs on the Softalk Share Server.
The client version can be identified from two places in Outlook. These should report the same version but when client installation problems have been encountered one of the components may show an older version. In this case, close Outlook and check using Task Manager that all instances of the Outlook process have been closed. If not, close any existing Outlook processes. Then re-install the Softalk Share Server client.
To check the current version of the Softalk Share Server message store, currently installed in Outlook, do the following:-
- Click Go >> Folder List.
- Right click on SERVERNAME [Account Name] at the top of the list on the left.
- Choose Properties.
- Click Advanced and then select the About tab.
To check the current version of the Softalk Share Server offline add-in, currently installed in Outlook, do the following:-
- Click File >> Offline Settings and click the About tab.
