When you click on the link to download an attachment to a mail message in Softalk Organizer a window briefly opens and then closes again. If you try and download a file type that the system can open such as a Word document (if you have Word installed) then the file should download and open.
Internet Explorer is set to block automatic attachment download.
The setting for Automatic prompting for file downloads must be set to Enabled in the Internet Explorer settings.
Go into Tools, Internet Options, Security and select the appropriate Zone for Softalk Orgnaizer (usually Internet although you may want to move Softalk Organizer into another zone). Now click on Custom Level, scroll down to the Downloads section and change Automatic prompting for file downloads from Disable to Enable. Click OK to save the settings.
