We have got some problems when sending commands to a list using MAILTO on a web form.
The list manager responds with:
1: action=join&listname=ntalpha&email=test@wdr.de
No valid command found – sending help.

Answer
The problem is that the MAILTO command can not be used to send commands directly to a List Manager. It must go via the GMS Mail WWW filter. Have a look at the GMS Mail manual under WWW Filter for details.
Alternatively you can use the MAILTO.EXE program which does need the WWW filter.
