Why is the redirect file not working on GMS Firewall?

Question

My 3075 firewall install is set up with relay set to "Disallow relay, but allow mail where MAIL clause or more than one RCPT clause is local" however relay is denied at the data stage.

Answer

This was happening because the server did not realise that the mail was being redirected. We have now altered the program to remember the redirected status and correctly allow the mail through.
