I have installed build 3241 and now my admin interface is slow and unresponsive. Why is this?
Answer
In build 3241 Gordano introduced a mechanism to check for updates in the software.
If your server cannot resolve the hostname www.gordano.com, you may experience slow performance in your admin interface.
The solution to this is to either ensure that your system is able to resolve the address www.gordano.com correctly or alternatively add an entry to the hosts file on your server as follows:
255.255.255.255 www.gordano.com
After a restart of the Gordano services, you should notice an obvious improvement in speed navigating through the admin interface.
The next release of GMS will not suffer from this problem.
