Question
Having needed to use GMS Archive & Recovery to search and retrieve messages for the year 2011, the administration GUI appears to only allow searchable criteria up to 2010.
How can I expand my search date range?
Answer
An error in the code resulted in dates post-2010 from not being displayed correctly. This has now been corrected and a hotfix has been issued. This can be obtained under ‘Downloads’ below.
To apply the fix on your server, you will need to stop the GMS Configuration Server (WWW).
Please note – this will prevent access to GMS Webmail for the duration of the time
the service is stopped.
Next, from your GordanoBin folder rename the existing ntmmml.bin to ntmmml.bin.3793 and then open the downloaded file with a compression utility such as WinZip, WinRar or 7-Zip.
Extract the file within the zip file (ntmmml.bin) into this location.
Finally restart the WWW service – you should now find you can query your message logs for 2011 and onwards.
