Why in Version 15 have GMS Anti-Virus updates suddenly halved in size?

Question

Version 15 of The Gordano Messaging Suite introduces compressed Anti Virus updates.
If all three of your definition files require updating, previously this would have meant that over 23MB’s of data was sent to your server.
The new compressed files will mean the entire update is approximately half of this size.

Here is an Anti Virus update being delivered using the uncompressed files.

Note the ESMTP size in bytes supplied at the Mail From clause.
