Why don't I see Outlook Desktop Alerts?

Question

I have the GMS Collaboration client installed in Outlook, when I get new emails I don’t see a desktop alert, why is this?

Answer

This problem may be caused if you have multiple email accounts configured in Outlook.

When you have multiple accounts, you have to ensure that the GMS Message store is set as the default delivery location in the File -> Data File Management menu.
