Question
After adding a domain footer to my GMS install on Red Hat the SMTP service fails to start and the server is effectively down.
Answer
This was a case issue where the file created was Footer.txt but SMTP was looking for footer.txt.
This has now been fixed so the domain footer is created with a name of footer.txt
A workaround for this trouble would be to rename the footer file from footer.txt to Footer.txt
