I have seen the following error message when I post to a group:
Post contains multiple email addresses.
What does this means?
Answer
To help combat spam attacks groups limit the number of addresses a message can have in the To: field. If a message sent to a group has more than 5 addresses in the To:, the message will not be posted to the group. The message will be posted to the other recipients though.
If you need to send a message to a group and a large number of other recipients, put the other recipients in the Cc: or Bcc: fields. Then the message will be successfully delivered to the group and the other recipients.
