Question
I am running Windows XP and I am unable to either save an attachment to disk or open an attachment from disk.
I do not suffer from this problem with any other operating system including Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, Linux, Solaris, Mac, etc.
Answer
By default Windows XP prevents access to your disk. In order to allow this go to Tools > Options > Advanced Settings within Windows XP, and make sure the option "Do not save encrypted files to disk" is unchecked.
