Question
I set up a new list with moderators to contol posting to the list. When I
posted to the list (to test it) my message went straight through to all the
list members without being moderated. Why is this?
The same also happens with superlists.

This is the correct behaviour.
GMS Communication Server simply sends the message to all users because it was sent by the
moderator. Since the moderator controls posts to the list, it is assumed
that the moderator wanted the message to be sent out therefore it is
delivered as usual.
To test if you have set up moderator control correctly, you will need to
use an account other than the moderator’s account to send the test message.
