A user is having folders disappear in Outlook Express. They are still alive and well on the server, but they don’t show up in Outlook Express.
Answer
We have investigated this issue extensively and have come to the conclusion that this is an issue with Outlook Express when using IMAP4 for managing email.
The folders and all the email in them remain on the server in the correct format, all IMAP4 protocol transfers are correct but the presence of the folders is not displayed to Outlook Express users.
Work around: Refreshing the folder list in Outlook Express.
