Question
On Linux and Solaris platforms messages informing new group members that they had been added to a group were not being sent.
This only affected those groups that had upper case letters as part of the group name.
Answer
The case sensitivity issue has been resolved and the join (or welcome) message is now always sent whenever a new member is added to the group via the GUI.
